Manchester Launches 2014 Season

Although we've not yet reached the end of 2013, teams across Europe are alread looking forward to the start of the 2014 Touch season with the 5th Annual Manchester Touch Championships, to be held on Saturday, 22nd Frebruary.This tournament has proven to be a great start to the season for the past few years and is a great way for teams to blow off the winter cobwebs and get back on the field. The tournament has previously attracted Scottish, Welsh, Swiss, & Spanish national teams, as well regional sides from England. Ireland have also entered the forthcoming event, and there has been an EOI from an Italian side too.

Well, last weekend - whilst the southern hemisphere welcomed in the summer months - things were also heating up over in the UK, as England's elite all met in Chester for their first "Team England" training session for the 2013/2014 season ... and it was all about fun and lots of fitness.
