Dubai Touch League Launches 2nd Season

The second season of Touch League is set to begin at Dubai Sports City Indoor Dome on the 3rd September. This event, partnered by UAE Touch, will be the first in the region to incorporate full Federation of International Touch (FIT) rules for the Mixed division.

The second season of Touch League aims to build on the success achieved by the inaugural season held earlier this year. 11 teams participated in the event spread over 9 weeks, with each team playing a guaranteed 10 games. Top 8 teams qualified to the knockout stage played on the final day of the league, with the final contested by Mana Dubai and GAS, top two sides in the region.

John Larkins, President UAE Touch: "It's the first time I have been involved with a Touch League in Dubai and I have been impressed with the quality of the teams in this League. Going ahead with our partnership with Dubai Sports City, we have decided to introduce Federation of International Touch rules in the second season of the Touch League, making the DSC Touch League the best in the region"
