FIT confirms Inferno as global Touch partner

Following a stringent tender process, FIT have selected Inferno as Touch Apparel Partner for the period up to and including the Touch World Cup in New Zealand in October 2028.

Inferno continues its partnership with FIT having been involved in the last three years since the European Championships in 2022.

FIT Chief Operations Officer, Chris Simon, is delighted to continue the development of a strong partnership with the team at Inferno:

“On behalf of FIT, I would like to thank all those that took the time to engage with us. It was an extremely competitive process, and we could have chosen any one of a number of potential partners.

“That said, I am really excited to be able to continue to develop FIT’s relationship with Inferno and I know how passionate business owner Gavin Shuker is when it comes to supplying the Touch market. I have worked with Gavin for the last three years during my time at England Touch and as we further develop FIT’s portfolio of events and increase the number of NTOs in the sport, I am confident that we’ll be able to enhance the range of Apparel products for all involved in touch.”

Inferno have been selected to provide staff and officials kit alongside the licensing rights for apparel for merchandising at all FIT events. This will start with the forthcoming Asia Pacific Youth Touch Cup next month in Moreton Bay, Queensland and continue across the rest of the FIT calendar of events in Europe in August.
