Global Growth Continues

At the FIT SGM held recently, the global membership endorsed applications for FIT membership from Chile, Czech Republic, Kenya, Kiribati and United Arab Emirates, bringing the list of FIT members to an impressive 46 nations!

Each of these new members has been working with the Secretary General for up to 2 years to develop their applications and to meet the selective compliance criteria. On behalf of the Federation we welcome these countries into the fold.

There are several other developing nations in the wind and they include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Solomon Islands and Tokelau. Some of these will submit membership applications in time for global consideration at the FIT 2012 AGM.
