FIT is delighted to announce that Pippa Bourke – former England Touch Head of Elite Operations, has joined the organisation as part of a growing Events Team.

The Federation of International Touch (FIT) and England Touch Association (ETA) have today confirmed that the 2026 European Youth Touch Championships (EYTC) will be hosted at the University of Warwick between Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th August.

As the results of the three participation surveys are processed, we take the opportunity to reflect on a season marked by record numbers across our European events.

The Federation of International Touch has confirmed that the 2026 European Youth Touch Championships will be hosted in England at a new location from Thursday 13th (registration and opening ceremony) to Sunday 16th August 2026. This follows an extensive search for suitable venues across mainland Europe and the United Kingdom.

In the first European Opens Touch Cup held at Rugby Calvisano this weekend, Touch France took the first gold in the mixed open, but England dominated the competition overall with gold, silver and bronze in the women’s, and gold and silver in the men’s.
